Tata Nexon Gets Feature Upgrade; Prices Increased
No changes have been made to the entry-level XE trim.
Tata Motors has silently updated features of the Nexon subcompact SUV. The feature upgrade is said to be made on the basis of customer feedback. As per the leaked document, the Tata Nexon mid-level variants – XM, XMA (AMT) and XT – are now available with non-touchscreen infotainment system and a longer antenna. The Nexon XZ trim receives a new grey dashboard panel and new glossy piano black finish for centre console, gear knob and AC control panel and knobs. The range-topping trims – XT, XZ, XZ+ and XZA+ – are now also available with new roof rails, 12V rear power outlet and door panels with a glossy black piano finish. While the rear air flow knob has been removed, the rear air vents are replaced with rear AC vents.
One must note that the aforementioned updates are available on both petrol and diesel variants. Prices of the variants have also been updated. Now, the Tata Nexon petrol comes in the price range of Rs 6.58 lakh – 9.44 Rs and diesel models cost between Rs 7.59 lakh – Rs 11 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Currently, the Tata Nexon comes with a 1.2L turbocharged petrol and 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine generating power worth 110bhp. Transmissions on offer are a 6-speed manual and an AMT unit.
