The new Hyundai Creta EX trim is available in 1.6L petrol MT and 1.4-litre diesel MT variants, priced at Rs 10.84 lakh & Rs 10.99 lakh respectively.

Hyundai has added a new EX variant to the popular Creta SUV lineup in India. The new Hyundai Creta EX trim is available in 1.6L petrol manual and 1.4-litre diesel manual variants, priced at Rs 10.84 lakh and Rs 10.99 lakh respectively. This model sits above the entry-level Hyundai Creta E+ trim, which is available at a price tag of Rs 9.99 lakh.

The entry-level Hyundai Creta EX 1.6-litre petrol variant is equipped with new features like front fog lamps with daytime running lights, rear parking camera, armrest with a cupholder for rear occupants and adjustable headrests for rear passenger seats.

The Hyundai Creta EX diesel has all the features that are accessible in the EX petrol variant. In addition, the EX diesel gets a 5.0-litre touchscreen infotainment system, multi-functional steering wheel, a USB charging slot with a 12V power outlet at the front and two tweeters. The entry-level Hyundai Creta E+ variant is equipped with features all power windows, power steering and steel wheels.

The company has discontinued the Creta S 1.6 automatic variant. Now, the top-spec diesel SX is the only variant available with automatic option. The Hyundai Creta is available with 3 engine options – a 89bhp, 1.4-litre diesel, a 121bhp, 1.6-litre petrol and a 126bhp, 1.6-litre diesel.

The Korean automaker is gearing up for the launch of much-anticipated sub-4 meter SUV, which is called the Hyundai Venue. Scheduled to make global debut on April 17, 2019, the new Hyundai Venue will rival the likes of Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300 and the Maruti Vitara Brezza. Adding to it, the company is working on the next-generation Creta, Grand i10 hatchback and the Elite i20.
