2019 Maruti Celerio is priced at Rs 4.31 lakh for the base LXi variant and Rs 5.48 lakh for the top-end ZXi (O) AMT.
Maruti Suzuki has introduced the 2019 Celerio and Celerio X with new safety features. The added safety features will help the new model to meet the new safety norms, which is scheduled to be rolled out in the next few months. The 2019 Maruti Celerio is priced at Rs 4.31 lakh for the base LXi variant and Rs 5.48 lakh for the top-end ZXi (O) AMT. On the other hand, the 2019 Celerio X is available at a price of Rs 4.80 lakh for the entry-level model and Rs 5.57 lakh for the top-end model. All the prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
The new 2019 Maruti Celerio and Celerio X are now equipped with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic BrakeForce Distribution), speed alert system, seat-belt reminder and rear parking sensors as standard. The driver-side airbag is also available as standard, while dual airbags come as optional. Besides added safety kit, the Celerio and its cross-hatch sibling remains unchanged. Powering the 2019 Celerio is the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that also powers the Alto K10 and the Wagon R. This engine is capable of producing 67bhp and 90Nm of torque. The hatchback is available with a factory CNG kit. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.
Maruti Suzuki has recently updated the Eeco Van with the similar safety features. Adding to it, the company has introduced the Ciaz with 1500cc in-house developed diesel engine. This powertrain will also power the S-Cross, Ertiga and the Vitara Brezza.
