For the first time, the Honda Jazz will be launched in both petrol and diesel fuel guise. The petrol version of the hatchback is propelled by a 1.2-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power output of 88PS and a peak torque of 109Nm. The oil burner is the highly fuel-efficient 1.5-litre i-DTEC motor that is good for 100PS and 200Nm of top torque. Power is transmitted to front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. The company is also likely to introduce the automatic transmission equipped variant of the hatchback.

The new generation Honda Jazz is based on a new platform which also underpins the new generation City sedan. Talking about styling, the compact SUV gets aggressive front fascia with horizontal chrome slat grille flanked by hawk-eye shaped headlamps. It appears larger than its predecessor, thanks to its large glass area. The side profile of the hatchback features crisp sewage line that runs across the length.

The top-spec model is equipped with several features including touchscreen automatic climate control, reversing camera, music system with USB and AUX-in, Bluetooth, multi-functional steering wheel, rear AC vents, etc.
