We reported earlier that Kawasaki will launch the all-new Ninja H2 sports bike in the Indian market in 2015. If media reports are to be believed, the bookings for the powerful Ninja H2 is already commence in the country at a token amount of Rs. 10 lakh. The sports bike is expected to go on sale in the Indian market in March, 2015, while deliveries are expected to start by April/May.
Report also claimed that only 5 Kawasaki Ninja H2 have been initially located for our market out of which, 4 bikes have already booked. The sports bike is expected to be priced around Rs. 32.8 lakh (on-road Maharashtra). It is powered by the 998cc in-line 4-cylinder supercharged unit that churns out a maximum power output of 200PS.
The company has also revealed the powerful Ninja H2R, which is powered by the same 998cc engine. This is a track-only version that is capable of offering a massive 300PS of power. It is also the most powerful production-spec bike ever produced, but this model won’t come to India.
To be launched as CBU (Completely Built-Up Unit), the Ninja H2 street legal bike is loaded with several advanced features such as launch control, traction control, engine brake control, anti wheelie, etc.
