What Will Be the Next Launch From Royal Enfield?

Royal Enfield has recently unveiled the revamped Himalayan, showcasing a fresh aesthetic, an updated chassis, and enhanced off-road capabilities. Notably, the renowned Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer has expanded its horizons into the realm of electric vehicles with the introduction of the RE Himalayan Electric (Him-E) concept, showcased at the EICMA Motor Show 2023.

While the anticipation surrounding RE’s next product launch remains shrouded in mystery, the company has been diligently testing several new bikes, captured on camera on numerous occasions. Let’s delve into what Royal Enfield has in store within its dynamic stable.

A notable addition to RE’s repertoire will be a bobber-style motorcycle, deriving its foundation from the Classic 350. Revealed through spy images, this model is characterized by elevated handlebars and white-wall tires, possibly omitting a pillion seat for a distinctive aesthetic. Adjustments to its suspension setup are anticipated to deliver an authentic bobber style. Powering the Royal Enfield Bobber 350 will be the reliable 349cc OHC engine, already proven in the Classic 350, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield Scrambler 650

The forthcoming RE Scrambler 650 will inherit the 648cc parallel-twin engine from the RE Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Tailored to suit the cruiser motorcycle genre, it will boast a conventional USD triangle-shaped side panel, wire-spoke alloy wheels in off-road dimensions, and a 2-into-1 exhaust system. Key features will include a slipper clutch with assist, a semi-digital instrument cluster, Tripper Navigation system, and dual-channel ABS.

As part of the upcoming fleet of six new RE bikes equipped with the 650cc parallel-twin engine, the Royal Enfield Scram 650 is on the brink of its production debut. While borrowing its frame from the Interceptor 650, the rear subframe will undergo redesign to distinguish itself from its sibling. The Scram 650 will be boasted with dual-sport tyres with a block pattern, LED head and taillights, a single-sided exhaust, and a circular digital instrument cluster.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650

Drawing design inspiration from the Super Meteor 650, the RE Shotgun 650 will exhibit a retro-styled circular headlamp with chrome accents, a taillamp incorporating turn indicators, blacked-out engine casing, round rearview mirrors, a split seat arrangement, and a single exhaust. Aligning with the modernized RE bikes, the Shotgun 650 will incorporate a semi-digital instrument cluster and a Tripper turn-by-turn navigation system, powered by the same 647.95cc parallel-twin engine.
