Volkswagen has partially revealed the interior of the SUV in a 21 second video

The long-awaited Volkswagen T-Cross baby SUV will officially make its global debut on October 25, 2018. The SUV will be offered in two versions – standard and long wheelbase variant. The long-wheelbase variant will make its first public appearance at the 2018 Sao Paulo Auto Show in November. The company’s smallest SUV will challenge the likes of Hyundai Creta and the Renault Captur. Ahead of the official debut, Volkswagen has partially revealed the interior of the SUV in a 21 second video.

This 21 second video is good enough to tell us that the Volkswagen T-Cross will have a lot of goodies. Since the baby SUV is based on MQB AO platform that also underpins the Polo, the two shares lots of interior components as well. The fully digital instrument cluster and dashboard layout is largely similar to the Polo. Video confirms that the T-Cross comes with a wireless charger on the centre console. Additionally, the T-Cross SUV’s infotainment system is powered by Beats Audio System. This clearly hinted towards an excellent music experience for prospective owners. The company has used the words “I am intuitive” to describe the cabin, which suggests that the SUV could also get some smart features. The SUV could get navigation assistance as well.

The European-spec model measures 4,133mm in length, 1,798mm in width and 1,563mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,560mm. On the flip side, the SUV for emerging markets has a longer wheelbase of 2,651mm. It measures 4,199mm in length and 1,568mm in height.
