Piaggio has rolled out the Vespa Urban Club 125 in the Indian two-wheeler market. The ex-showroom price of the scooter stands at Rs 73,733 in Delhi and Rs 72,190 in Pune. It’s one of the most affordable offerings from the Italian two-wheeler maker in the country. The scooter is available in four colour schemes – Glossy Red, Azzurro Provenza, Glossy Yellow and Maze Grey.
The Vespa Urban Club 125 has blacked out components including grab rails, mirrors and wheels. Similar to the Vespa Notte, the new Urban Club 125 comes fitted with 10-inch wheels and drum brakes. Though, it additionally gets CBS (Combi Braking System).
Besides sharing design bits, the Vespa Urban Club makes use of the same 125cc, air-cooled engine that does duty in the Notte. The motor, with CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) gearbox, produces a peak power of 9.6bhp and 9.9Nm of torque.
The scooter has monocoque full-steel body built and its length, width and height stand at 1770mm, 690mm and 1140mm respectively. Suspension setup of the Vespa Urban Club 125 includes aircraft derived single side arm front suspension with anti-dive characteristics and rear suspension with dual-effect hydraulic shock absorber.
