2021 Skoda Kodiaq Unveiled

Skoda Kodiaq facelift will be the first launch from the Czech automaker in the country. The company will announce its prices on 10th and its deliveries will begin from 14th January 2022. The new 2022 Skoda Kodiaq facelift will be made available in three variants, namely, Style, SportLine and L&K. The mid-spec SportLine trim will get sporty black treatment along with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. This time around, the SUV will be offered with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine only. The gasoline unit delivers a peak power of 190bhp and 320Nm of torque. A few noticeable changes will be made to its exterior as well.

Bookings of the upcoming Kia Carens three-row SUV will start from 14th January 2022. Its launch, however, will take place in March 2022. Based on the Seltos’ platform, the Carens will directly challenge the Hyundai Alcazar. The model lineup will come with three engine options – 1.4L turbo petrol, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L diesel. On the feature front, the SUV will offer a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 64 colour ambient lighting, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a fully digital instrument cluster, 6 airbags, TPMS, hill start assist, rear parking sensors, ABS with ESC, disc brakes on all four wheels and more.

2022 BMW X3

The new 2022 BMW X3 is reported to launch in the second week of January. On the exterior, the model will receive slightly larger kidney grille, tweaked LED headlamps and taillamps and updated bumpers. It will offer the new-generation iDrive connected technology with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The new X3 will continue to come with the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. At present, the X3 is offered with 2.0L, 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines delivering power worth 248bhp with 350Nm and 188bhp with 400Nm respectively. Transmission duties will be done by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

2022 Audi Q7 facelift launch

2022 Audi Q7 facelift will see a release in the month of January. While its official launch date is yet to be announced, the automaker has released its first teaser image revealing its front fascia. The updated model lineup is reported to come in two variants – Premium Plus and Technology. The latter one will get Matrix LED headlamps, foot-operated electronic powered tailgate, a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, air quality sensor with air fragrance and adaptive windshield wipers. Powering the new Audi Q7 will be the 3.0L petrol engine with mild hybrid technology. The motor, with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and Quattro AWD system, makes 335bhp and 500Nm.

Unofficial bookings of the upcoming Toyota Hilux have already been commenced across the country. The lifestyle pickup truck will go on sale in January 2022. It’s likely to be offered in two variants – Hilux and Hilux Reo. The Hilux shares its underpinning with the Fortuner and Innova Crysta. Though, its length and wheelbase are longer than its siblings. Under the hood, the pickup truck will employ a 2.8L, 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that can be had either with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The motor delivers a maximum power of 201bhp against 500Nm of torque. The Toyota Hilux will come with 4X4 drivetrain system.
