Toyota Vellfire 6-seater Premium MPV Launching on February 26, 2020
Japanese automaker, Toyota will finally launch the long-awaited Vellfire luxurious MPV in India on February 26, 2020. It is basically the sportier version of the Alphard MPV, which was showcased at the Auto Expo 2018. Bookings for the MPV have also been started, and interested buyers can pre-book the Toyota Vellfire by paying a token amount of Rs 10 lakh.
It is expected that the deliveries for the Toyota Vellfire 6-seater luxurious MPV will commence in April or May 2020. It will come via CBU route under the government’s new import norms. Likely to be offered in a single top-end variant, the Vellfire is expected to be priced around Rs 75 lakh to Rs 80 lakh.
The Toyota Vellfire will be offered in a single petrol-hybrid engine option. It will powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder hybrid petrol engine that offers a combined power output of 197PS. The hybrid system includes a 2.5L petrol engine and two electric motors. Transmitting power to all-four-wheels will be a CVT automatic gearbox.
The Toyota Vellfire will be equipped with several advanced comfort and convenience features including a 10.2-inch HD displays for the second-row seat passengers, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options. It gets a three-zone automatic climate control, twin moonroofs, ventilated seats, powered seats and premium leather upholstery. The Vellfire MPV will be offered in 4 exterior colour options – Black, Burning Black, Graphite ME and White Pearl Crystal Shine. Adding to it, the company will offer two interior schemes for customisation – Black and Flaxen.
