Toyota Kirloskar Motor has started dispatching its upcoming Innova Hycross three-row MPV across its dealerships in the country. Bookings for the model have already been commenced at a token sum of Rs 50,000. The MPV model lineup will be made available in 5 trims – G, GX, VX, ZX and ZX (O). Prices of the new Toyota Innova Hycross will be revealed at the 2023 Auto Expo in January. We expect it to cost around Rs 22 lakh for the entry-level variant and Rs 30 lakh for the full-loaded variant. As per media reports, its waiting period have already been gone up to 6 months.
The new Toyota MPV will come with the 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol and 2.0L petrol strong hybrid powertrains. While the former will make 172bhp and 205Nm with a CVT gearbox, the latter will be good for 186bhp and come with an e-Drive transmission. The carmaker says that the Innova Hycross hybrid will deliver fuel efficiency of 21.1kmpl with a range of 1097km on a full fuel tank. It can do 0 to 100kmph in 9.5 seconds. The model underpins a monocoque chassis and it’s based on Toyota’s TNGA-C platform.
With respect to features, the new Toyota Innova Hycross offers Toyota Safety Sense suite of ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). It offers features such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, rear cross traffic alert and pre-collision system. The MPV also offers safety features such as 6 airbags, traction control, electronic stability program and ABS with EBD. The list of features also includes a 9-speaker BL audio system ventilated front seats, connected car tech, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, paddle shifters, multi zone climate control at both front and rear side, a large panoramic sunroof and a powered tailgate. The new Toyota MPV comes with dual-tone (Brown and Black) interior theme and Dark Chestnut leather seat upholstery.
