Toyota Hilux Electric Concept Unveiled – All Key Details

The Japanese automaker, Toyota recently completed its 60 successful years in Thailand. In order to commemorate the occasion, the company showcased the Toyota Hilux Revo BEV and IMV0 concepts underpinning the IMV platform. The same architecture is used in the India-spec Toyota Innova Crysta. The official statement reads that the new HiLux Revo BEV concept shows the brand’s commitment to achieve carbon neutrality across its vehicle range.

Official specifications of the models are still under the wraps. Though, the company has confirmed that the Toyota IMV0 will enter into production next year. The concept is said to be “designed to support economic growth and mobility for all”.

The new Toyota Hilux electric concept is based on the single-cab pick-up variant featuring a closed-off grille with slatted design elements, trapezoidal fog lamp assembly and angular headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. Moving towards sides, the Hilux EV concept has body-coloured rear view mirrors with integrated turn indicators, alloy wheels and charging slot behind the front left wheel. The rear profile has been adorned by a flat tailgate and vertically mounted taillamps.
