Tata Motors shown a wide range of its upcoming new models including EVs, SUVs, updated and customized versions at the Auto Expo 2023. The Tata Tiago EV Blitz has also made its public appearance at the event. It’s essentially the sportier version of the electric Tiago that went on sale in late 2022. The new variant receives some cosmetic enhancements over the regular model. While the carmaker hasn’t yet revealed its launch timeline, the Tiago EV Blitz is reported to see a release towards the end of this year.
Design Enhancements
What differentiate it from the regular Tiago EV is the all-black trim in the closed-off grille and under the headlamps. The sportier version features gloss black finish Y-shaped motifs in the air dam replacing the body coloured accents.
The pronounced wheel arches, ORVMs and rear spoiler also have gloss black finish. You can notice the Tiago EV Blitz badges on the front grille, front doors and tailgate. Save for the head restraints with blue bolt motif stitch, the interior layout and features remain unchanged.

Powertrain Details
As of now, the powertrain specifications of the new Tata Tiago EV Blitz are no available. The Tiago EV comes with the 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery packs, delivering a claimed range of 250km and 315km respectively. The hatch features Tata’s Ziptron high-voltage technology that includes a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor. The e-motor generates a peak power of 74bhp and 114Nm of torque and the smaller 19.2kWh version promises 61bhp with 110Nm. Tata claims that the Tiago EV can do 0 to 60kmph in 5.7 seconds and the smaller battery version accelerates 0 to 60kmph in 6.2 seconds.
