Tata Nexon EV Gets A New Bi-Arrow Front Grille

Recently, Tata Motors recently introduced the Nexon with the new bi-arrow theme replaced the tri-arrow design. The carmaker has made the similar updated to its electric iteration. Now, the Tata Nexon EV carries the lower grille featuring the new bi-arrow pattern in blue accent. While the carmaker hasn’t yet mentioned the reason behind the design change, it’s likely to be the tri-arrow resemblance to Mercedes-Benz’s three pointed star. No other changes have been made to the vehicle.

Launched in January 2020, the Tata Nexon EV marked debut of the brand’s Ziptron electric powertrain that includes a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack and an electric motor (129bhp/245Nm). While the battery powers a motor mounted on the front axle, the latter one helps to achieve 0-100kph in 9.9sec. The small SUV’s batter can be charged fully in 8-9 hours via a standard 15A AC charger. It takes an hour to juice up upto 80% via a CCS2-compatible DC fast charger.
