Tata Motors is trying hard to improve its lost market share in the highly competitive Indian market. The company will launch a series of new products in the country including the Bolt hatchback, the Zest, Nano AMT and others. The Tata Zest is the much anticipated compact sedan in the country which will take on the likes of Maruti Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze & Hyundai Xcent. Based on the thoroughly modified X1 platform, the Zest undoubtedly is the most appealing and more modern Tata cars in the country.

The website for the sedan has already been launched which explains everything a visitor wants to know about the vehicle. This compact sedan is equipped with several high end features including active return function, speed sensitive power steering which has been developed by ZF, Harman infotainment system with MapmyIndia navigation, 5-inch touchscreen, etc. It will be offered in both petrol and diesel guise- a 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron petrol and 1.3-litre Quadrajet diesel.

Expected price- Rs. 4.8-7 lakh.
