Prices of the upcoming Skoda Kushaq mid-size SUV are slated to be announced on coming 28th June. Replying to a user’s tweet, Zac Hollis, Director, Sales and Marketing Head, Skoda India, has revealed that its deliveries will begin from 12th July 2021.
Deliveries will start on the 12th of July. How long an order takes to deliver will of course depend on the number of bookings we recieved against production capacity.

Initially, the SUV will be made available with a 1.0L, -cylinder TSI turbocharged petrol engine that’s good for 115bhp and 178Nm. The more powerful 1.5L, 4-cylinder TSI turbo petrol will be introduced in the month of August. It will make the Kushaq the most powerful SUV in its segment.
The Kushaq model lineup will be spread across three trims – Active, Ambition and Style. It will be the brand’s first model to underpin the MQB AO IN platform that’s made specifically for the Indian market. The carmaker said that it aims to achieve as high as 95% localization level for its new mid-size SUV. Therefore, it’s expected to be priced quite competitively against the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. Its entry-level variant is likely to cost around Rs 10 lakh and the fully-loaded model could be priced nearly Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom).
In terms of features, the Skoda Kushaq will offer a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The screen will also work as a display for the rear view camera. Some of its other key features will include a wireless charging pad, an electric sunroof, a 12V power socket and two USB type C ports, ambient lighting (that can be controlled via infotainment display) and more. The new Skoda SUV’s safety kit will include multiple airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control (ESC), hill hold control, rain sensing wipers, Isofix seats at the rear and automatic headlamps. Buyers will have 5 colour schemes to choose from, namely, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Tornado Red, Honey Orange and Carbon Steel. The SUV measures 4221mm in length, 1760mm in width and 1612mm in height.
