Royal Enfield 650cc Cruiser Rendered in 4 Bright Colours

Recently, the upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser motorcycle was revealed in clear pictures. Based on the prototype, the model has been rendered in four exciting colours including Red, Blue, Black and Teal.

The new RE cruiser is likely to underpin the same platform that has already been used in the RE Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Some of its design bits are likely to be carried over from the RE KX concept that made debut at the EICMA Motor Show in Milan, Italy last year.

Royal Enfield 650cc Cruiser Colours

The upcoming 650cc cruiser features circular headlamp, slender fuel tank, a low slung profile, black finished alloy wheels and chrome twin exhaust canister. It sits on a long wheelbase. While the RE KX concept has a single-piece saddle and unconventional girder type suspension, the new cruiser bike comes with a longer seats and USD fork front suspension respectively. Other key features include twin rear shock absorbers, a digi-analog instrument console and front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

Royal Enfield 650cc Specs

On the engine front, the new Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser will offer a 648cc parallel-twin, air-cooled engine with a 6-speed gearbox. The transmission unit will offer decent low end grunt and ensure easy highway cruising. The power and torque outputs of the new 650cc bike are yet to be revealed by the bikemaker.

The new RE Cruiser will the brand’s flagship model that’s reported to arrive in the second half of 2021. It’s estimated to be priced below 4 lakh (on-road). The next big launch from the Chennai-based bikemaker will be the Royal Enfield Meteor 3350 that will replace the RE Thunderbird 350X in the country.

It will be offered in three variants – Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. One must note that the body graphics, colours, and features will vary variant-wise. After the Meteor, the company will bring in the new-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350.
