Renault Kiger Prices To Increases From 1st April 2021

Prices of the newly-launched Renault Kiger subcompact SUV will be increased from 1st April 2021. One must note that the new prices will be applicable to the existing and new bookings. If a customer makes the full payment before its price hike (i.e. 1st April), their will receive price protection. Otherwise new rates will be applicable. The Kiger has been made available in four trims – RxE, RxL, RxT and RxT – priced from Rs 5.45 lakh to Rs 9.55 lakh (ex-showroom), thus making the most affordable vehicle in its segment.

Based on the CMFA+ platform, the Kiger can be had with two engine options – a 72bhp, 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol and a 100bhp, 1.0L turbocharged petrol. All variants get a 5-speed manual gearbox, while a 5-speed CVT automatic transmission is reserved for the turbo-petrol variants. The higher trims of the turbo-petrol engine also come with drive modes – Normal, Eco and Sports. The turbo-petrol manual mileage is rated at 20kmpl.

Prices of the 72bhp manual variants start from Rs 5.45 lakh and go up to Rs 7.55 lakh and 72bhp AMT models cost between Rs 6.59 lakh – Rss 8.00 lakh. The 100bhp manual and CVT variants are available in the price range of Rs 7.14 lakh – Rs 8.55 lakh and Rs 8.60 lakh – Rs 9.55 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, India. The Renault Kiger is being made available in six colour schemes – Caspian Blue, Moonlight Grey, Ice Cool White, Mahogany Brown, Planet Grey and Radiant Red with Mystery Black Roof. While the Radiant Red paint scheme is reserved for the top-end RxZ trim, the dual-tone colour options are available across the model lineup. Some of its key features include an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 7.0-inch TFT digital instrumentation display, an Arkamys audio system, wireless smartphone charging, automatic climate control, a PM2.5 air filter and more.
