2021 Renault Triber Launched At 5.30 Lakh; Gets Dual-Tone Colour

French automaker, Renault has launched the 2021 Renault Triber MPV at a starting price of Rs 5.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has delivered over 70,000 Tribers since its launch in 2019. The new Triber is available with dual-tone colour option – Cedar Brown and LED turn indicators on ORVMs; however, this is only available on the top-spec RXZ Triber.

The 2021 Renault Triber MPV is available with steering wheel mounted audio & phone controls along with driver seat height adjust feature. The MPV is available with the same 1.0-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that also powers the 2020 model. This engine is capable of producing 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.

Sits below 4 meters in length, the Renault Triber is known for offering high practicality and space for 5 adults and 2 kids. It is based on the CMF-A+ modular platform that also underpins the Nissan Magnite and the Renault Triber. The company has removed the Fiery Red colour option from the Triber line-up. It is now offered with 5 single-tone colors – Moonlight Silver, Electric Blue, Zanskar Blue, Cool White and Outback Bronze. Dual-tone paint is available with all the colours on the RXZ version at an additional cost of Rs 17,000.

In the 5-seater configuration, the Renault Triber offers 625-litres of boot space that is the largest in the segment. The top-spec model also gets up to 4 airbags. The 2021 model is available in 4 trim levels – RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ – priced between Rs 5.30 lakh and Rs 7.65 lakh. Except for the base RXE, all the variants are available with manual and automatic gearbox options.

Renault is also working on the turbocharged version of the Triber MPV, which is likely to arrive in 2021. It will be powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output of 99bhp and 160Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
