Over 1.15 Lakh New Hyundai Creta Booked So Far

Hyundai Motor India has announced that the new-generation Creta has crossed over 1.15 lakh booking mark in the country. The South Korean carmaker has sold over 5.20 lakh units of the compact SUV since its arrival in 2015. Despite the lockdown and ongoing pandemic, the 2020 Hyundai Creta has been doing really very well for the carmaker. In fact, the model has been outnumbering its arch rival Kia Seltos and ruling the sales chart since May, 2020.

The compact SUV’s new-generation model registered its highest ever monthly sales of over 12,300 units in September, 2020. With the help of new-generation Creta, the South Korean carmaker acquired 26% market share in the SUV segment in current year (January – September, 2020). While the diesel variants have 60% contribution in the total sales of the SUV, the BlueLink enabled models have been opted by over 25,000 customers. The turbo-petrol variant of the new Creta is also quite popular among buyers.
