Launched in March 2020, the new-generation Hyundai Creta has been doing really well for the carmaker in terms of sales. In fact, the SUV gathered over 14,000 bookings prior to its price announcement.
Featuring improved design, upmarket interior and multiple powertrain options, the new Creta continue to allure buyers and dominate the segment month after month. Now, the South Korean carmaker has increased prices of the compact SUV by up to Rs 61,900.

After the first price hike, the new Hyundai Creta petrol is available in the price range of Rs 9.81 lakh (for the entry-level E variant) – Rs 17.31 lakh (for the top-end SX (O) model). One must note the E petrol is the new entry-level variant that costs Rs 9.81 lakh. Earlier, the EX was the base variant priced at Rs 9.99 lakh. While the S petrol manual model can be had at Rs 11.83 lakh, the SX petrol manual is available at Rs 13.57 lakh. The SX and SX (O) petrol automatic variants are available at Rs 15.05 lakh and Rs 16.26 lakh respectively. The turbo-petrol DCT SX and SX (O) cost Rs 16.27 lakh and Rs 17.31 lakh respectively.

The new Hyundai Creta E petrol variant comes with very basic fitments and misses out on some important features such as music system, a digital instrument cluster, cruise control and rear AC vents. The SUV model lineup comes with three BS6 engines – 113bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 138bhp, 1.4L turbo petrol and 113bhp, 1.5L diesel. There are 4 transmissions on offer – 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, CVT and 7-speed DCT.
