The upcoming Punch mini SUV has already been revealed in its production avatar via official images. It’s based on the HBX concept that made its first public appearance at the 2020 Auto Expo. The final model retains most of the design elements from the concept. Though, its rear section appears to be slightly toned-down. The teaser images lead us to believe that the Punch will offer traction modes (first-in-segment) along with the hill start assist and hill decent control. Its interior might be similar to the Altroz. Engine setup of the Tata Punch is likely to 85bhp, 1.2L NA petrol and 100bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol unit. Both manual and AMT gearboxes will be on offer. Prices of the new Tata mini SUV are likely to fall between Rs 5 lakh – Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom).
