Simultaneously, Kia is scheduled to disclose the pricing details for the enhanced Sonet, slated to make its debut on the 14th of December 2023.

Meanwhile, although Maruti Suzuki has not officially confirmed the launch specifics of the new-generation Swift, industry reports suggest its arrival in either January or February 2024. On a parallel note, Mahindra & Mahindra is poised to introduce updated versions of the XUV300 subcompact SUV and the XUV400 electric SUV in the upcoming month. Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai Motor India is set to unveil the new Creta facelift on January 16th. The SUV will undergo a substantial update, drawing design inspiration from Hyundai’s global flagship SUV, the Palisade. Anticipated exterior enhancements include a new large grille with horizontal metallic slats, projector LED headlamps, and LED DRLs. Interior upgrades will feature ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a new fully digital instrument cluster, and a 360-degree camera. The new Creta will be powered by the Verna’s 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engine, in addition to the existing 115bhp, 1.5L petrol and diesel engines.

Kia, on the other hand, will reveal the updated Sonet on December 14, 2023, with prices expected to be announced in January 2024. The facelifted Sonet will showcase minimal changes both inside and out, featuring a new Seltos-like LED light bar, C-shaped taillamps, and a rear spoiler. The interior will see the addition of a Seltos-like digital instrument cluster and ADAS technology. The powertrain lineup, including the 1.2L petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel engines, remains unchanged.

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the launch of the new-generation Swift, which is reported to arrive in January or February 2024. Based on an updated platform, the fourth-generation Swift will exhibit marginal dimensional changes, with increased length and height and a slightly reduced width. The interior design, inspired by the Fronx and Baleno, is expected to omit ADAS tech in the India-spec version. The 2024 Swift will introduce a new 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, promising improved fuel efficiency compared to the existing K-series 1.2L, 4-cylinder motor.

Mahindra XUV300/XUV400 Facelifts

Mahindra & Mahindra is set to roll out updated versions of the XUV300 subcompact SUV and XUV400 electric SUV in January 2024. The XUV300 facelift will be equipped with the Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic gearbox paired with the 131bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol engine, alongside the existing 110bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol, and 117bhp, 1.5L diesel engines. Notably, the XUV300 facelift will introduce a panoramic sunroof, making it the first in its segment to feature this enhancement. Exterior changes and additional features are expected in both updated models.
