Car manufacturers have released the sales numbers for the month of November 2023. While Maruti Suzuki maintains its lead over rivals, Hyundai retains its second position with over 49,000 vehicles sold in November 2023. Honda is currently selling only 3 models – City, Amaze and Elevate SUV, and the latest SUV has been receiving an overwhelming response from buyers. Kia India is also maintaining its sales with over 22,000 vehicles sold in November 2023.
Hyundai Sales Breakup November 2023
The Korean brand has sold 11,814 units of the Creta SUV in November 2023 as against 13,321 units in the same month last year, reporting a decline of 11%. The company has sold 11,180 units of the Venue and 8,325 units of the Exter micro SUV last month. In fact, the new Exter has received over 1 lakh bookings in the country.
Hyundai has sold 4,708 units of the Grand i10 Nios in November 2023. The sales for the i20 and the Aura stand at 5727 units and 3850 units respectively. Sales of the new Hyundai Verna drops to 1701 in November 2023 as against 2,025 units in the same month last year; reporting a YoY decline of 16 percent. Hyundai has also sold 96 units of the Ioniq 5 last month.
Kia Sales Breakup November 2023
The Korean automaker has sold 22,762 units in November 2023 as against 24,025 units in the same month last year, reporting a YoY sales decline of 5 per cent. The company has sold 11,684 units of the Seltos as against 9,284 units in the same month last year, reporting a YoY sales growth of 26%. The Kia Carens and Sonet account for 4,620 units and 6,433 units in the brand’s total sales; however, both reported a significant YoY sales decline. The company has also sold 25 units of the EV6 electric SUV last month.
Honda Sales Breakup November 2023
The Honda Elevate mid-sized SUV has helped the Japanese brand to secure a YoY sales growth of 24 per cent in November 2023. The company has sold 4,755 units of the Elevate last month. Honda has sold 2,639 units of the Amaze compact sedan in November 2023 as against 3,890 units in the same month last year, reporting a YoY sales decline of 32%. Similarly, the City sales have also declined by 51 per cent. The company sold 1,336 units of the City sedan in November 2023 as against 2,711 units in the same month last year.
