7 Facts About New Hyundai Creta Before its January Debut

The much-anticipated new Hyundai Creta facelift is set to end the long wait, with the South Korean automaker preparing to unveil the model on January 16, 2024. The launch is expected to closely follow its debut in India or potentially on the same day. The new iteration of the popular SUV promises a significantly enhanced design, a more feature-packed interior, and the introduction of a new turbocharged petrol engine.

Already a dominant force in the mid-size SUV segment, the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift will intensify competition with rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq. Here are seven key facts about the upcoming new Hyundai Creta facelift.

New Hyundai Creta Features

The SUV will showcase design inspiration from the globally sold Palisade SUV, featuring a distinctive grille and parametric hidden lights. The front bumper will undergo updates, and the SUV will boast vertically positioned headlamps with a split pattern and cube-like detailing. Elements such as H-shaped LED DRLs and an updated tailgate will resemble those found on the Exter micro SUV. A significant addition to the features is the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) tech. This suite will incorporate various advanced safety features, including adaptive cruise control, emergency braking system, blind-spot monitoring system, collision avoidance, lane-keep assist, and high-beam assist. Additional upgrades include a 360-degree camera and a fully digital instrument cluster. While the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is likely to remain unchanged, the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift could offer new color schemes for seat upholstery.

The existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L diesel engines will continue to be offered with the updated Creta.
