New 2022 Maruti Baleno Front Design Looks Sportier – Rendered

Maruti Suzuki is ready to give a mid-life update to its highly popular Baleno premium hatchback. In fact, the company has started testing the new model and it was recently caught on camera in the country. Reports suggest that the new Baleno facelift will see a release sometime next year. While its launch is several months away, interesting digital renderings have started emerging on the web. A latest rendering shows the completely revised front fascia of the 2022 Maruti Baleno facelift that looks sportier than the current model.

The rendered model carries an entirely new front grille featuring honeycomb pattern with sporty black inserts. The rectangular-shaped headlamp units are newly-designed with LED DRLs positioned at the upper portion. The fog lamp assembly appears bolder than the existing model. A chrome strip is running around the fog lamps and the black radiator grille adding more to its new sportier looks. The pronounced bonnet and ORVMs remain unchanged. Reports suggest that one of the major update will come in the form of the robust sheet metal.

Interior details of the new 2022 Maruti Baleno facelift are still under the wraps. Though, the spy images reveal that the hatchback will come with a larger touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It will also receive an all-new instrument cluster. No changes are likely to be made under the hood. The new 2022 Maruti Baleno facelift is expected to come with the 1.2L, naturally aspirated and 1.2L Dualjet with SHVS mild-hybrid tech powertrains. While the former makes atop power of 83bhp with 110Nm, the latter one pushes out 89bhp with 110Nm of torque. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer. The new Maruti Baleno facelift is likely to witness minor price hike. At present, the hatchback comes in the price range of Rs 5.98 lakh – Rs 9.44 lakh (all, ex-showroom). There are three automatic variant – Delta CVT, Zeta CVT and Alpha CVT – priced at Rs 8.05 lakh, Rs 8.69 lakh and Rs 9.44 lakh respectively.
