Honda Cars India today rolled out the updated Amaze compact sedan in the country. Prices of the new 2021 Honda Amaze facelift start from Rs 6.32 lakh for the entry-level variant and go all the way up to Rs 11.15 lakh for the top-end variant. The model lineup comes in a total of 9 variants spread across four trims – E, S, and VX. The petrol version has been offered in the price range of Rs 6.32 lakh – Rs 9.05 lakh, the diesel model costs between Rs 8.66 lakh – Rs 11.15 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. The new Honda Amaze 2021 has received a few noticeable changes inside and out, while the engine setup remains unchanged. On the exterior, the compact sedan carries a revised grille with a wide chrome strip at the top and horizontal slats at the lower section. The newly-designed LED projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, revised bumper and updated LED fog lamp assembly further enhance its refreshing front fascia.

While the headlamps are now offered with light sensor, the lower bumper gets glossy black finish. The body-coloured door handles have been replaced with the chrome units. The new 2021 Honda Amaze comes with a set of newly-designed alloy wheels. No changes have been made to its dimensions. The new Amaze measures 3995 mm in length, 1695 mm in width and 1498 mm (1501 mm – CVT) in height with a 2470 mm long wheelbase. Buyers have the same exterior colour options to choose from including Lunar Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Platinum White Peal, Radiant Red and Modern Steel Metallic.
The interior layout remains largely unchanged. Though, the new 2021 Honda Amaze facelift has a new dashboard with satin silver inserts along with new fabric upholstery. The compact SUV comes with an updated 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. As mentioned above, the new Honda Amaze 2021 facelift continues to come with the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine options. The gasoline unit returns a claimed power of 89 bhp and 110 Nm, the latter delivers 99 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque. There are two gearbox options including a 5-speed manual (standard) and CVT automatic (optional). One must note that the diesel CVT offers 79 bhp with 160 Nm and this engine-gearbox combination is reserved for V and VX trims.
