The MV Agusta F3 800 RC sportsbike’s India price has been announced via the company’s official website. The Italian bikemaker will produce just 250 units of the motorcycle, and the Indian market will receive only 9 of them. One can pre-book the bike on MV Agusta India’s website, though its deliveries will be commenced from the first week of November 2016.
The MV Agusta F3 800 RC is basically the performance-oriented AMG version of the F3-800. Each unit of the bike will be autographed from the renowned motorcycle racers – Lorenzo Zanetti and Jules Cluzel – on the right and left side panel respectively. The F3 800 RC will be made available in two paint options – Peark Ice White and Pearl Shock Red. Other design features include anodized aluminium mirror caps kit that includes Billet aluminium clutch levers, ‘Sport’ license plate holder and foot peg kit. It has thermoplastic fairing, and fiberglass rear seat cover. MV Agusta is offering dedicated bike cover and rear paddock stand as accessories on the bike. Braking system of the F3 800 consists of 320mm double floating disc and 220mm single steel disc front and rear brakes respectively. The bike also gets ABS (anti-lock braking system).
Suspension duties are taken care of by Marzocchi upside down forks front and Sachs monoshocks rear units. This edition comes fitted with 120/70 ZR – 17 front and 180/55 – ZR 17 rear tyres. Power for the MV Agusta F3 800 RC comes from a 798cc, 4-stroke, 3-cylinder DOHC engine producing 148bhp at 13,000rpm and 88Nm at 10,600rpm. This AMG version is claimed to offer a top speed of 269kmph.
