Official bookings for the all-new MG Astor SUV have been commenced today across the nation. Interested buyers can pre-book the vehicle by paying an initial sum of Rs 25,000. Deliveries, however, will begin in November 2021. Prices of the Astor SUV have already been announced. The model lineup comes in five trims – Style, Super, Smart, Sharp and Savvy – and three engine-gearbox combinations – 1.5L petrol manual, 1.5L petrol CVT and 1.3L turbo petrol automatic. The naturally-aspirated 1.5L petrol unit makes a top power of 110bhp and 144Nm, while the 1.3L turbo petrol motor offers 140bhp and 220Nm.
One must note that the turbo-petrol engine is available only on the top two trims (Smart and Sharp). The MG Astor is the most powerful car in its segment. Its prices start from Rs 9.78 lakh and go up to Rs 16.78 lakh. While the manual variants cost between Rs 9.78 lakh – Rs 13.98 lakh, the automatic variants are available in the price range of Rs 12.68 lakh – Rs 16.78 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.

Buyers have five exterior colour options to choose from including Aurora Silver, Candy White, Spiced Orange, Glaze Red and Starry Black. There are three interior colour themes – dual-tone Iconic Ivory, dual-tone Sangria Red and Tuxedo Black. The new MG Astor SUV offers up to 49 safety features including 27 standard fitments. The list includes 6 airbags, electronic stability program, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), hill hold control, hill descent control, traction control, 360-degree around-view camera, ISOFIX mounts, tyre pressure monitoring system, emergency stop signal, all-disc brakes, front fog lamp with cornering assist, read fog lamp, and many more.
