Maruti Suzuki Wagon R CNG has achieved the three lakh sales milestone. In order to celebrate the milestone, Maruti Suzuki has introduced three new vibrant colour options for the Wagon R CNG – Autumn Orange, Nutmeg Brown, and Poolside Blue.
The new colors join the Wagon R CNG’s existing color options – Solid White, Silky Silver and Magma Grey. Maruti Suzuki is also offering a casdh discount of Rs 8,000 on the petrol-powered WagonR. The CNG trim of the Wagon R is offered with a cash benefit of Rs 13,000. Adding to it, Maruti Suzuki is also giving an exchange benefit of Rs 15,000 on the CNG version of the tall-boy hatchback.
The Maruti WagonR CNG version is available in two variants – LXi and LXi (O). It is powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit. With CNG as fuel, this engine produces 58bhp of power and 78Nm of torque. When running on petrol, the 1.0L engine churns out 67bhp of power and 90Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The total CNG tank capacity in the WagonR CNG stands at 60-litres. The hatchback is claimed to return a fuel economy of 33.54km/kg. Suspension system includes MacPherson Strut with Coil Spring at the front and Torsion Beam with Coil Spring at the rear. It rides on 13-inch wheels shod with 155/80 section tyres. The hatchback rides on front disc and rear drum brakes.
