Maruti Suzuki To Launch 3 New Cars With Strong Hybrid Engines

Maruti Suzuki was the first car manufacturer to remove diesel engines from its portfolio in our market. The company is focusing on alternative fuel options including CNG and hybrid. Adding to it, MSIL has also introduced mild hybrid tech with its existing petrol engines to offer improved fuel efficiency.

Maruti Suzuki is now betting big on strong hybrid models to improve sales in the market. The company had launched the Grand Vitara with Toyota’s fuel efficient 1.5L petrol engine with strong hybrid tech. This model is claimed to return a certified fuel economy of 27.89kmpl. The company is also planning to launch 3 more strong hybrid vehicles in the country in the next 1 year.
