Hero MotoCorp has finally launched the new XPulse 200T 4V in the country at Rs 1,25,726 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new model comes with cosmetic changes along with a more modern four-valve engine, which powers the XPulse 200 4V.
Powering the new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V is a BSVI compliant 200cc 4 valve oil cooled engine that churns out 19.1PS of power at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 17.3Nm at 6500rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Compared to the Xpulse 200T 2V, the new powertrain offers 0.7bhp and 0.2Nm more power and torque respectively.
Hero claims that the 4 Valve oil-cooled engine improves the motorcycles performance at high speeds. The new 5-speed gearbox unit has an upgraded gear ratio, which offers better tractive effort and acceleration. The motorcycle gets 37mm front forks and 7-step adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear.
For braking duties, the new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V gets a 276mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc along with a single-channel ABS. This more road-biased version of the Xpulse 200T 4V rides on 17-inch cast-alloy wheels shod with 100/80 and 130/70 section tyres at the front and rear respectively.
The new XPulse 200T 4V is available in 3 colour options – Sports Red, Matt Funk Lime Yellow and Matt Shield Gold. It comes with circular full LED headlamps with chrome ring and LED position lamps which is lowered by 20mm. The motorcycle has colored visor, front fork gaiters, colored cylinder head and tubular pillion grab. It comes with a full digital LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity & call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, under seat USB charger, gear indicator and side-stand engine cut off.
