Maruti Suzuki Teases Triple LED Tail-Lights Of New Grand Vitara

Maruti Suzuki has released multiple teasers of the highly-anticipated Grand Vitara SUV. The teasers reveal the front and side profile of the SUVs, and also confirm that the new model will be sold exclusively through NEXA premium dealership network. A new teaser reveals the Maruti Grand Vitara’s LED tail lamp cluster.

The latest teaser reveal that the Maruti Grand Vitara gets triple LED tail-lights with a sleek LED light bar. The tail-lamp design seems heavily inspired by the Venue’s tail-lamp; however, the Light bars are not fully connected. The “Suzuki” badge is placed right between the light bar, while the Grand Vitara badge is placed below the Suzuki logo (Similar to the new Maruti Brezza).

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara front design seems inspired by the new-gen S-Cross on sale in the global markets. It gets an upright front face with a large radiator grille with a strong chrome bar running across the width. The SUV has triple LED headlamps and LED fog lamps. The lower bumper has wider air-dam and faux silver skid plate.

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is designed and developed on Suzuki’s Global-C platform that underpins the new Brezza and the new S-Cross. Production of the new Grand Vitara will commence from August 2022 at Toyota’s manufacturing plant in Bidadi, Karnataka. If media reports are to be believed, Suzuki will also export the Made-in-India Grand Vitara to select international markets. In India, the SUV will replace the ageing S-Cross crossover.

It will also come with Suzuki’s All-Grip AWD system.

The 1.5L 3-cylinder petrol engine is capable of producing 91bhp at 5,500rpm and 122Nm at 3,800-4,800rpm. It is coupled to a synchronous AC motor that pushes out 79bhp and 141Nm. The combined power output stands at 114bhp and maximum usable torque is 141Nm. It is coupled to an e-CVT gearbox.
