Maruti Suzuki introduced the new-generation Brezza with significant styling and feature upgrades in June 2022. The model lineup comes in four trims – Lxi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ – priced from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 13.96 lakh (all, ex-showroom). Its bookings were commenced 10 days before its market launch and during this short span of time it gathered 45,000 orders. Bookings for the new Maruti Brezza are still keep pouring in, therefore its waiting period has increased to up to 6 months in select cities.
The compact SUV commands a waiting period of 3 months in Pune and Chennai, and around 3-4 months in Bengaluru. Customers can get its deliveries within 4 months in Mumbai, if order is placed this month. In Delhi, the new Brezza has a waiting period of 6 months. The SUV’s average waiting period is around 3-4 months across the country.

In December 2022, the Indo-Japanese automaker will roll out the CNG version of the new Maruti Brezza. It will be first CNG SUV to come with automatic gearbox in the country. There will be 7 variants of the Brezza CNG, namely, CNG LXI 5MT, CNG VXI 5MT/6AT, CNG ZXI 5MT/6AT and CNG ZXI 5MT/6T. For power, all variants will have the same 1.5L K15C petrol engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The same setup delivers a claimed mileage of 26.08km/kg in Maruti Ertiga. The Brezza CNG is likely to offer a fuel efficiency of around 25-30km/kg.
The standard Brezza petrol model promises a claimed fuel economy of 19.80kml with the automatic gearbox and 20.15kmpl with the manual transmission. The power and torque figures of the new Maruti Brezza CNG will be slightly lower than the standard petrol version. In fact, the CNG kit will also eat up its boot space. The SUV’s standard model offers a boot space of 328-litres.
