Maruti Suzuki Brezza, the subcompact SUV from the Indo-Japanese automaker, has received wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It comes with a 9-inch Smarplay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system. The carmaker has also updated its Head-Up Display (HUD) unit and MID screen to display turn-by-turn navigation. Now, the customers can install new features via OTA (Over-the-Air) updates via smartphone or download from the website.
In terms of features, the new Maruti Brezza offers Suzuki Connect connected car features, a 360 view camera, height adjustable front seat belts, Arkamys surround sound system, rear fast charging USB slots (Type A and C), cooled glovebox, front armrest with storage, auto folding wing mirrors, ambient lighting, leather wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, electric sunroof, electronic stability program, hill hold assist, rear parking sensors, Isofix child seat mounts and more.
The new-generation Brezza SUV model lineup is available in four trims – LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. All trims are powered by a new 1.5L K15C petrol engine making 103bhp and 137Nm. The motor has been benefited with the mild hybrid tech. A 5-speed manual gearbox comes as standard and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic transmission with paddle shifters are available only on the top three trims. While the new Maruti Brezza underpins the same Global C platform, it gets new body panels and an entirely updated interior. No changes have been made to its dimensions. The SUV carries a more angular front, squarish dual-LED headlamps merging with the front grille finish and a clamshell bonnet. It has contrast black cladding running across it. At the rear, the new Brezza have a revised tailgate design and horizontally placed taillamps with pronounced badging.
The top two trims of the SUV can be had in dual-tone colour schemes along with the new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The company also offers two new optional accessory packages – Terrascape and Metroscape.
