The teaser video reads “A sunroof so large, you might think you are in a convertible. Hello largest-in-segment Skyroof.” The carmaker has already confirmed that the XUV700 will feature Auto Booster headlamps that automatically switch on extra lights when the vehicle crosses speed of 80kmph. It will provide better visibility on dark roads and ensure passengers’ safety.

Besides these two features, the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 is likely to be offered with Level 2 ADAS (advanced driving assistance system). Its dual display setup, which seems to be inspired by Mercedes-Benz, will work as an infotainment system and instrument console. The infotainment unit will support the latest smartphone connectivity. The list of feature will also include dual zone automatic climate control, connected car tech, hill hold assist, electronic parking brake, 8-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and 6-way adjustable co-passenger seat.

On the engine front, the Mahindra XUV700 will offer a new 2.0L mStallion turbocharged petrol and a 2.2L mHawk turbocharged diesel motor. While the gasoline unit will be good enough for 188bhp and 380Nm, the oil burner will produce power worth 185bhp. That means, it will also be the most powerful SUV in its segment. Mahindra’s new three-row SUV can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. Check Out – 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Interior Revealed In New Spy Images
