Hyundai Motor India recently marked its entry in the premium 7-seater SUV segment with the all-new Alcazar. The model lineup has been priced from Rs 16.30 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in three trims (Prestige, Platinum and Signature), 2 engines and 6 paint schemes. The colour palette includes 6 monotone shades – Polar White, Phantom Black, Taiga Brown, Starry Night, Typhoon Silver and Titan Grey. Buyers also have dual-tone colour options – Polar White/Phantom Black and Titan Grey/Phantom Black.

The dual-tone paint schemes are reserved for the range-topping Signature and Signature (O) trims. The Alcazar model lineup includes four dual-tone variants – Signature Petrol MT, Signature Diesel MT, Signature (O) Petrol AT and Signature (O) Diesel AT – priced at Rs 18.85 lakh, Rs 19.08 lakh, Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 20.14 lakh respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. Compared to the monotone variants, the dual-tone models are around Rs 15,000 more expensive.
Engine setup of the Hyundai Alcazar includes a 2.0L petrol and a 1.5L diesel unit. While the gasoline motor pushes out a peak power of 159PS and 191Nm of torque, the oil burner makes 115PS and 250Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV offers three drive modes – Comfort, Eco and Sport, and three traction modes – Sand, Snow and Mud. The Alcazar’s standard feature kit includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Hyundai BlueLink connected car tech, steering mounted audio and phone controls, voice controlled panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting with 64 selectable colours, height adjustable driver seats, auto climate control, cruise control, leather wrapped flat-bottom steering and gear knob, wireless smartphone charger in the front, rear centre armrest (7-seater only), rear centre console with wireless smartphone charger (6-seater only), sliding and reclining second row seats, reclining third row seats and more.
