Unveiled at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, the Mahindra Mojo Sunburst Yellow comes at the same price as the regular colour variants.

November 14, 2016 – The Mahindra Mojo that was introduced in three paint options (Volcano Red, Glacier White and Charcoal Black) upon its launch, now gets a new Sunburst Yellow Matte shade. The Mahindra Mojo Sunburst Yellow comes at no additional cost. That means, it is being made available at Rs 1.70 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi alongside other existing colour options. The Mahindra Mojo Sunburst Yellow model had made its first public appearance at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.

The Mahindra Mojo Sunburst Yellow variant gets matte finish on the front fender, fuel tank, radiator shrouds and headlamp cowl. What add more to its sporty appearance are the black finish signature twin ribs below the fuel tank and side panels. Similar to the regular colour models, this new variant continues to feature the golden finish USD front fork.

If we talk about its engine, the bike comes fitted with a 292cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is capable of generating 27bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 30Nm at 5,500rpm. As far as dimensions are concerned, the Mojo measures 2,100mm in length, 800mm in width and 1165.5mm in height. The bike rides on robust Y-spoke, 17-inch black alloys shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres.

Recently, the Mojo completed its first year in the Indian market that was marked with the launch of a special edition – Mahindra Mojo Tourer Edition. This new tourer model comes with six riding accessories at an additional cost of Rs 19,000. The accessory package includes magnetic tank back, saddle bags made of ‘ultra-tough denier fabric, front guard, a pair of 20W fog lamp and mount, mobile holder and a carrier.

Thanks to its aggressive pricing, the Mahindra Mojo outsold its closest competitor Honda CBR250R in June, 2016. One must note that till that time Mahindra’s 300cc bike was available only in select four cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Pune & Bengaluru). Later, it was made available in 15 more cities. With its mile-munching capabilities, aggressive styling and reasonable pricing, the Mahindra Mojo targets young enthusiasts.
