Clear images of the Mahindra Marazzo 7-seater MPV have been leaked on the internet ahead of September 3rd launch. The company has already dispatched the new models to dealership for customer previews, and one can pre-book the model at a token amount of Rs 10,000. Adding to it, media reports claim that the new Marazzo will come in four trim levels – M2, M4, M6 and M8.
Initially, the Mahindra Marazzo will come with a single diesel engine option. It will be powered by a newly developed 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that is likely to produce 130bhp of power and 300Nm of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox will be offered as standard, while an automatic unit is expected to arrive on a later stage.

The new MPV exterior design highlights include a 7-slat grille with chrome inserts, twin-pod headlamps with projectors, aggressive bumper with wider air-dam and a chrome trim at the bottom, and newly styled fog lamps with integrated daytime running lights. On sides, the MPV gets chrome window trim and door handles, blacked-out B and C-pillars and power operated ORVMs with integrated blinkers. The top-spec model also gets dual-tone alloys, wraparound tail-lights, chrome garnish and a dual-tone rear bumper with integrated reflectors.
The Mahindra Marazzo comes equipped with several safety features as standard. Features include dual-front airbags with a passenger airbag off-switch, a speed sensitive door lock/unlock, ABS with EBD and brake assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts. Mahindra Marazzo Variant-Wise Features
Marazzo M2 – This entry-level variant rides on 16-inch steel wheels. It is equipped with fabric seat upholstery, power windows, central locking, 12V power outlet along with USB charging point for rear occupants, manual HVAC control, roof-mounted rear AC vents, etc.
Marazzo M4 – Along with above mentioned features, this variant gets full wheel caps, height adjustable drivers’ seat, USB and AUX for rear passenger, rear wiper and washer and voice messaging system.
Marazzo M6 – This variant comes equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, front and rear fog lamps, projector headlamps with follow me home and cornering lamps, adjustable lumbar support for front seats, remote keyless entry, centre console with tambor door, rear parking sensors and emergency call feature. It features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car applications and navigation, and steering mounted controls for audio and other functions. Marazzo M8 – This top-spec model rides on 17-inch machined alloy wheels. It comes with several features like LED DRLs, leatherette seats, dual USB sockets for front and rear passengers, paddle lamps, cooled glovebox with illumination, infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Cruise control, reverse camera with display, automatic climate control, etc.
