Mahindra Bolero Neo Mileage Revealed; Soon Get A New Variant & Colour

Mahindra Bolero Neo, the updated version of TUV300 compact SUV, recently went on sale at a starting price of Rs 8.48 lakh (ex-showroom). The model comes with the BS6-compliant 1.5L, 3-cylinder mHawk diesel engine that’s good for 100bhp and 260Nm. All variants of new Bolero Neo get a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. Now, the automaker has revealed the mileage figure of the subcompact SUV.

With diesel-manual combination, the new Bolero Neo is claimed to deliver fuel efficiency of 17.28kmpl. The calibrated BS6-ready diesel motor is slightly (1.21kmpl) less frugal than its BS4 version that offered 18.49kmpl. At present, the Mahindra Bolero Neo model lineup is spread across three trims – N4, N8 and N10 and 6 exterior colour options (Napoli Black, Highway Red, Majestic Silver, Pearl White, Rockey Beige and Diamond Pearl).

In coming months, the company will announce price of a new N10 (O) variant that will be exclusively offered with a multi terrain technology. A new Royal Gold paint scheme will also be offered on the compact SUV model lineup.

Currently, the range-topping N10 variant comes with features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front and rear arm rests, height adjustable driver seat, cruise control, electrically adjustable ORVMs, Isofix child seat mounts, LED DRLs, 15-inch alloys, follow-me-home headlamps, a grille with chrome inserts and static bending headlamps.

The carmaker also confirmed that it will soon launch the longer version of Bolero Neo. The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will be based on the same new ladder-frame chassis and share its engine with the 7-seater sibling. With the additional third row of seats and stretched length, the SUV will be able to accommodate a total of 9 passengers. Elements such as upright stance, components and features will be carried forward from the 7-seater Bolero Neo.
