BMW Motorrad is ready to launch a new maxi scooter in the Indian market. The two-wheeler maker has released a teaser image with a caption “Are you ready to rise to the next level of urban riding? While the company hasn’t yet revealed the name and details of the upcoming new BMW maxi scooter, it’s likely to the BMW C 400 GT from its global product portfolio. The C 400 GT mid-size scooter is claimed to be “as comfortable and agile in the city as in the surrounding area”.

The 2021 model year also comes with a new catalytic converter, modified cylinder head, a new oxygen sensor and revised exhaust system. All these updates make it comply with the Euro 5 emission standards. The power and torque of the motor stand at 33.5bhp and 35Nm respectively. It offers a top speed of 139kmph.
The new BMW maxi scooter gets a CVT automatic gearbox for performing transmission duties. The gearbox unit has been updated with a new clutch springs that ensures sharper throttle response and smoother power delivery. The BMW C 400 GT is offered in three colour schemes – Alpine White, Moonwalkgrey Metallic and Blackstorm Metallic.
Some of its key features include LED lighting system, sporty V-shaped trim panel components, large-format windscreen, ergonomically designed seat and more. The latest updated model comes with the new brakes and a revised automatic stability control (ASC). The latter one improves its traction on lower-traction surfaces.
