New Mahindra Bolero Neo Launched – 10 Key Features & Images

Mahindra & Mahindra has finally introduced the new Bolero Neo subcompact SUV at a starting price of Rs 8.48 lakh (ex-showroom). The model lineup is spread across three variants – N4, N8 and N10 – which are priced at Rs 8.48 lakh, Rs 9.48 lakh and Rs 9.99 lakh respectively. It also includes a N10 (O) variant. One of the major updates has been made on its underpinning. The 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo sits on the third-generation Scorpio’s ladder-frame chassis. It comes in seven colour schemes – Rockey Beige, Diamond White, Majestic Silver, Highway Red, Pearl White, Royal Gold (yet to be launched) and Napoli Black.

For power, the subcompact SUV uses a BS6-compliant 1.5L, 3-cylinder diesel engine that’s good for 100bhp and 260Nm of torque. Its torque output is 20Nm higher than its predecessor.

The new Bolero Neo 7-seater SUV gets RWD (rear-wheel-drive) as standard and a mechanically locking differential is reserved for the top-end N10 trim.

On the exterior, the 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo gets a new six-slat chrome grille, newly-designed headlamps with LED DRLs, revised front bumper, new fog lamp assembly and a clam shell bonnet.

The rear section has been revised with a new X-type spare wheel cover with ‘Bolero’ badging and a spoiler.

Minimal updates have been made inside the cabin. The 2021 Mahindra Bolero Neo receives a new instrument cluster with revised dials and new MID screen.

 The new tilt adjustable power steering wheel, beige fabric upholstery with a textured effect and arm rest for the middle row seats enhance its comfort quotient.

The list of features also includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, AC unit with Eco mode, steering mounted audio controls, adjustable ORVMs, height adjustable driver’s seat, front arm rests, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensors and optional Isofix mounts.
