Jeep India is offering substantial discounts and benefits on the Compass and Compass Trailhawk SUVs for the month of October, 2020. The benefits and discounts range from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh. There are no offers on the newly-launched Compass Night Eagle Edition. Buyers can avail cash discounts of up to Rs 1.5 lakh with an additional exchange bonus of Rs 50,000 on the Compass SUV. The company is additionally offering the SUV with attractive financing schemes for easier ownership. Buyers can avail 100 per cent off-road funding without any initial down payment. Besides this, there are several EMI schemes including low interest rate pack, 50 per cent off EMI plan and a hybrid plan that includes benefits of two separate EMI schemes in one. Furthermore, there is a special offer for women that includes 8.20 per cent of interest rate and up to 10 per cent on-road funding.
Jeep Compass, the brand’s sole made-in-India model, comes with a 1.4L MultiAir turbo petrol (161bhp/250Nm) and 2.0L diesel (170bhp/350Nm) engine options. In 2019, the American carmaker expanded the Compass lineup with the Trailhawk variant. The Trail-rated model is being offered with the BS6-compliant diesel motor and a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk receives some enhancements over the standard model along with the AWD (all-wheel-drive) system. The diesel-automatic combination was introduced to the standard Compass earlier this year.
In other updates, the American carmaker has already started testing the updated Jeep Compass that’s reported to debut in November, 2020. The model will receive significant changes including the advanced infotainment unit. The company is also working on the 7-seater version of the SUV to challenge the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
