Jeep Compass 7-seater SUV is one of the much-awaited upcoming launches from the American SUV manufacturer in India. While its official details are yet to be revealed, the model is likely to make its debut early next year.
Recently, the 7-seater Compass was spotted testing in the country. The prototype was completely camouflaged covering most of its design details. Though, we can still see some of its side and rear profile elements.
– The SUV has more bulging haunches over the rear wheels and a completely revised D-pillar section, thanks to its additional third row of seats.
– Unlike the 5-seater Compass, the bigger SUV features a large quarter glass. The taillamps has also been revised.
– The upcoming 7-seater Jeep SUV will have a longer rear overhang and slightly stretched wheelbase.

– Interior of the Jeep Compass 7-seater SUV is likely to get an updated UConnect infotainment system, connected car technology and new colours and materials. Most of its features will be carried over from the 5-seater Compass.
– The American SUV maker will offer the new 7-seater SUV with the new 1.3L turbocharged petrol and 2.0L diesel engine options. The gasoline unit makes power worth 130PS with manual gearbox and 150PS with DCT (dual-clutch transmission). Its torque output stands at 270Nm.
– The oil burner, on the other hand, delivers 173PS with 350Nm of torque. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 9-speed automatic transmission.
– While globally the updated Compass made debut with 4xe hybrid AWD system, the India-spec model is likely to devoid of it.
– Once launched, the bigger Compass will take on multiple cars right from Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and MG Gloster to Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace and the upcoming Skoda Kodiaq petrol.
