India’s Top 3 Sedans To Get Generation Change – Launch Details

SUV demand is all time high in the market. While the small cars and premium hatchbacks are still driving volumes in the country, sales of sedans is gradually declining. In order to revive the sedan segment, car manufacturers will give generation change to India’s top 3 sedans including Hyundai Verna, Honda Amaze and Maruti Dzire. New-Gen Hyundai Verna

2023 Hyundai Verna Launch

Official launch date of the new 2023 Hyundai Verna is yet to be revealed. Though, the reports suggest that its mass production will begin next month (i.e. March) and market launch will happen in the second quarter of 2023. One of the major update will be made under the hood. The new-generation Verna will come with a 115bhp 1.5L turbo petrol engine instead of the existing 120bhp 1.0L turbo motor. The sedan will also receive Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) along with dual screen setup and wireless smartphone connectivity. New-Gen Honda Amaze

New Honda Amaze facelift price

Honda Amaze is ready to enter into its new generation sometime next year. The sedan’s new model will share its platform with the upcoming new Honda mid-size SUV that’s due for 2023 festive season. Some of its design elements could be inspired by the global-spec Accord and new City. It’s interior layout will also share some resemblance with the HR-V and Accord, which are on sale in global markets. The 2024 Honda Amaze is expected to come with a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. New-Gen Maruti Dzire

2020 Maruti Dzire Features

Maruti Suzuki’s compact sedan – Dzire – will witness a generation change in 2024. If media reports are to be believed, the all-new Dzire will be high on mileage. It will feature a new 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine benefited with Toyota’s strong hybrid technology. The sedan is reported to deliver an ARAI-certified mileage of 35kmpl – 40kmpl.
