Strong Hybrid Maruti Dzire In 2024; Mileage 35-40kmpl

Maruti Suzuki will give a generation change to its two highly popular cars – Swift hatchback and Dzire compact sedan. Both models are reported to come in the first quarter of 2024 (i.e. January – March). Interestingly, the 2024 Maruti Dzire and Swift will be the first vehicles in their respectively segments to come with the strong hybrid technology. According to a fresh media report, the new Maruti Dzire will receive an all-new 1.2L petrol engine with three-cylinder setup. The motor will be benefited with Toyota’s strong hybrid tech.

Codenamed Z12E, Maruti Suzuki’s new petrol engine with strong hybrid system will make the new Swift and Dzire India’s most fuel efficient cars. Both models are reported to offer an ARAI-certified mileage of 35-40kmpl, which is highest ever for any vehicle in the country. With the highly fuel efficient powertrain, the new 2024 Maruti Dzire will attract a wider audience and comply to the upcoming CAFÉ II (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) norms.

2020 Maruti Dzire facelift Launch

At present, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire comes with a 1.2L, 4-cylinder K12N Dualjet petrol engine that also does duty in the Swift. It can be had with a 5-speed manual or an Amt gearbox. The compact sedan’s manual version promises a mileage of 23.26kmpl and the AMT variant delivers 24.12kmpl. More details on the 2024 Maruti Dzire compact sedan are likely to be revealed in near future. We expect it to come with significantly improved design and updated interior. Compared to its standard petrol model, the sedan’s strong hybrid version will be around Rs 1 lakh – Rs 1.50 lakh more expensive. Its current generation model lineup is available within the price range of Rs 6.24 lakh – Rs 9.18 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
