Citroen’s Hyundai Creta rival SUV will be based on the C3 hatchback. The fresh set of its spy images reveals some interesting exterior and interior details. The Citroen C3 Aircross will have a dual-tone upholstery with contrast white stitching, square AC vents placed just below the large free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. The info unit will support both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SUV will come with a digital instrument cluster, a three-spoke steering wheel, A-pillar mounted tweeters, circular knobs and cup holders in the centre console.

Design of the new Citroen SUV will be similar to the C3 hatch. Though, it will receive a few different styling bits and measure longer than its younger sibling. The spotted test mule has headlamps and taillamps with two-piece design, flap door handles, steering wheels, a shark fin antenna, a rear bumper mounted license plate and upright tailgate. The higher trims are likely to come with the dual-tone alloy wheels.

Engine-gearbox combination will be similar to the C3 hatchback. That means, the new Citroen C3 Aircross SUV will derive power from the 1.2L turbo petrol engine paired to both manual and automatic gearboxes. The motor makes a top power of 110bhp and 190Nm of torque. It will be the brand’s second offering to come under its C-Cubed project. The model will be designed on Stellantis’ CMP platform.
