Hyundai Tucson Gets A Panoramic Sunroof & A Few More Features
The new mid-spec trim with sunroof takes on the newly-launched Jeep Compass Limited Plus.
Further expanding the Tucson lineup, Hyundai India has introduced a new GL (O) variant with a panoramic sunroof. While the top-spec GLS petrol automatic variant also gets a panoramic sunroof, the GLS diesel model is still devoid of it. Save for the Base trim, all variants of the SUV are now available with wireless charging port and infotainment system with AutoLink and i-Blue app compatibility. The new Hyundai Tucson GL (O) petrol and GLS trims are priced at Rs 22.34 lakh and Rs 23.60 lakh respectively, the GL (O) diesel costs Rs 24.22 lakh. The new mid-spec trim with sunroof takes on the newly-launched Jeep Compass Limited Plus, which is available at Rs 21.41 lakh (petrol – AT) and Rs 22.85 lakh (diesel 4WD – MT). Currently, the Hyundai Tucson petrol Base, GL and GLS variants are available at Rs 18.63 lakh, Rs 21.74 lakh and Rs 23.60 lakh respectively. The diesel versions, on the other hand, are priced at Rs 20.67 lakh (Base), Rs 23.51 lakh (GL) and Rs 25.74 lakh (GLS). All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Engine setup of the Hyundai Tucson includes a 155hp, 2.0-litre petrol and a 185hp, 2.0-litre diesel motor. The base trims come with the standard 6-speed manual gearbox, the GL, GL (O) and GLS variants are available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. While the front-wheel-drive (FWD) is standard across the carline, the all-wheel-drive (AWD) system reserved for the top-spec diesel model.
