Hyundai To Launch 3 New SUVs In 2024 – More Details

The Korean automaker, Hyundai had launched the Exter micro SUV, new Tucson, new Verna and the Venue facelift in the Indian market in 2023. The company is working on a wide range of new cars & SUVs, which will be launched in the next 3-4 years. Hyundai has also started working on the locally developed electric vehicles, which will start arriving in our market in 2024. The company will launch 3 new SUVs in the country in 2024.

The long-awaited new Hyundai Creta facelift will make India debut on January 16, 2024. The new model will be different from the global-spec model and will receive India-specific changes. It will come with significantly revised styling and refreshed interior along with a new turbo petrol engine. The 2024 Hyundai Creta will also come with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology with features like adaptive cruise control, a blind spot monitoring system, an emergency braking system, high beam assist, lane assist and others.

The interior of the Creta facelift will share the features and dashboard layout with the new Verna & the new Kia Seltos. It will have a new 10.25-inch digital instrument console, a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, automatic AC, a Bose sound system, a panoramic sunroof, ESC, TPMS and others. The SUV will retain the existing engine options including 115bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated, and 115bhp, 1.5L diesel motors. The Korean automaker is reportedly to unveil its first mass-market electric SUV, the Creta EV, which has been spotted testing multiple times with and without camouflage. This electric SUV will rival the MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV400 and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX concept based electric SUV. The SUV will receive several design changes to make it look different from the ICE counterpart. It is likely to be offered with a small 45kWh battery pack sourced from LG Chem. Hyundai is also testing the updated versions of the Alcazar mid-sized SUV on the Indian roads. The SUV is likely to adopt the brand’s fresh design language seen in the Exter. Some of the design inspiration is expected to be borrowed from the Creta facelift. The SUV is expected to receive a redesigned grille, updated headlamp clusters with integrated DRLs, a new set of alloy wheels and new LED tail-lights. Inside the cabin, the Alcazar facelift could get updated upholstery, an upgraded touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument console, a new 10.25-inch digital instrument console and electrically adjustable driver’s seat.
