In order to cash in on the upcoming festive season, the South Korean carmaker has introduced the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate edition. Based on the Magna trim, the special edition comes with both petrol and diesel engines. While its diesel model has been priced at Rs 7.19 lakh, the petrol manual and AMT variants are offered at Rs 6.11 and Rs 6.64 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom. The Grand i10 Nios Corporate edition receives a few cosmetic and feature upgrades over the standard Magna trim. On the exterior, the special edition features power folding ORVMs with turn indicators along with ‘Corporate badging. The model runs on larger 15-inch gunmetal styled alloy wheels instead of the regular 14-inch steel rims. It continues to feature the gloss black and chrome finish grille, follow-me-home headlamps and LED DRLs.
Minimal changes have also been made inside the cabin. The Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition gets a 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with the smartphone navigation and band equalizer. The Grand i10 Nios Corporate edition is the first model in its category to offer ABAF (Anti Bacterial Anti Fungal) seats and a plug-in air purifier with a HEPA filter as we have seen on the Venue subcompact SUV. The hatchback’s special edition has been offered with all three engine options – a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol and a 1.2L diesel. The 1.2L NA gasoline unit pushes out 82bhp with 114Nm and the turbo petrol is good enough for 118bhp. The oil burner, on the other hand, delivers 74bhp with190Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard across the new Corporate edition. An AMT unit comes as an option with petrol variant.
